The UL 508 A certification also requires at least one on-site Manufacturer’s Technical Representative at one time. Becoming an MTR requires dedication to the successful completion of the MTR examination, which can only be taken after completing the training modules. Though the time commitment to attain MTR status varies by individual and skill level, it can take up to a year for an individual to complete the path. McIver Engineering & Controls proudly employs multiple MTRs to ensure accuracy and conformity to the standard.
