ABOUT MCIVER ENGINEERING & CONTROLS

Every company has a unique trade secret that sets them apart from their competitors. McIver Engineering & Controls are no exception. We have a secret weapon that makes us stand out – our people.

We only hire the best, hardest working, focused individuals who know how to work as a team and have a strong moral compass. We are different from our competitors because we don’t keep this secret. We believe that our team will always do what is best for our customers and deliver safe products and services.
We provide sound and simple solutions without overselling unnecessary features. We deliver what our customers need now and consider what they may need in the future. In short, we are an honest company that believes in doing what is right.

Our History

In 1978, licensed electrician Jack McKenzie and machine shop owner John Iverson teamed up to enter the electrical business. They combined parts of their last names to create the name “McIver.” Their early business model focused on electrical services for both commercial and residential sectors.
Two years after the business started, Controls Engineer Dave Singer joined McIver, and together with Jack and John, they established the Industrial Control Panel Division, which remains the heart of the company to this day.

Although our business model has since evolved and the name has been updated to McIver Engineering & Controls, our company remains steadfast in its customer commitment. We believe that our customers are the foundation of our business; without them, we would not exist. Today, McIver has grown to include a team of expert technicians, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, professional project managers, and a sales team.

Despite our growth, our team remains focused on providing the very best industrial control panels, engineering support, and automation systems with excellent customer service.
